PEDDLERS

A Futuristic Love Story
Set in the year 2169, in the post-apocalyptic Domed city of Havanna, rigidly controlled by a computer-operating system called BUDDY, Corey Tusk is about to be married off in a mating ceremony with his fellow high school graduates. But when the girl he loves is chosen by another boy, a distraught Corey refuses to choose another mate and is exiled from the oppressive world he was brought up in. Barely escaping with his life, he manages to make it to Peddler’s Island, which houses the people who pedal to create electricity for Havanna. He soon makes new friends and discovers the truth behind BUDDY and those who controlled his hometown from afar. When he learns about the far-reaching corruption and sees firsthand the violence of those in charge, he knows he must fight to find a way to free the people he loves. But can one rebellious man bring down this tyrannical system before it’s too late?

The Children of Change Book 1

Penny Ann has created something special with Peddlers. The world-building is fascinating, but it’s the emotion that truly stands out. Corey’s pain, his choices, and his courage feel raw and real. By the end, I found myself deeply moved and reminded that even in a broken system, one person can make a difference.

Peddlers pulled me in with its mix of mystery, emotion, and futuristic control. The world of Havanna is both fascinating and unsettling everything looks perfect, but you can feel the cracks underneath.

Corey and Anne’s story feels sincere and human. Their connection gives heart to a world that’s otherwise cold and calculated. It’s the kind of book that makes you think about freedom, love, and what really makes us alive. Quiet but powerful I’m glad I picked it up.

What I loved most about Peddlers is how real it all feels. Penny Ann doesn’t just create a futuristic worlds she builds a reflection of our own. Corey’s emotional journey from heartbreak to defiance is powerful and deeply human. This story stays with you long after you’ve finished it. A must-read for fans of heartfelt dystopian fiction.

This isn’t just another dystopian tale it’s a story about the human spirit refusing to be silenced. Penny Ann writes with clarity and compassion, giving us a hero who dares to question everything. Peddlers made me think, feel, and root for Corey every step of the way. It’s emotional, brave, and beautifully written
